Nexsen Industrial Solutions took part in NDT Days, organized on 26 September 2026 by the TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Welding Training and Inspection Center (KEMM). At this event bringing together professionals of the non-destructive testing (NDT) industry, we welcomed visitors at a shared booth with our solution partner Ekoscan.
Eddy Current Array presentation
During the event, Aeron Greenbank from Ekoscan and Seçkin Doğan from Nexsen delivered a presentation on Eddy Current Array (ECA) technology.
The presentation covered the advantages of Eddy Current Array over conventional eddy current testing. Key topics included wide-area coverage in a single pass, recording results as C-scan images, and rapid detection of surface and near-surface cracks. Questions from the audience turned the session into a productive discussion of real-world field applications.
NDT equipment at our booth
Visitors had the chance to explore three of our non-destructive testing solutions through live demos:
- Eddy Current Array (ECA): Detects defects such as cracks and corrosion on welds, pipes and metal surfaces in a single pass, with imaging and full data recording.
- Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT): Scans the internal structure of welds and critical components from multiple angles to reveal volumetric defects.
- Steel wire rope inspection device: Non-destructively detects broken wires and loss of cross-section in steel wire ropes used in cranes, elevators and cable cars.
Instead of paper brochures, we used a digital catalogue at our booth. Visitors could browse all our solutions on a touchscreen and fill in the request form directly.
