Industrial Videoscopes and Borescopes

Visual testing (VT) is the fastest way to find corrosion, cracks, wear and foreign objects in turbines, engines, pipes and enclosed volumes that cannot be viewed directly.

Our range includes articulating industrial videoscopes, rigid and fibre borescopes, ATEX-certified videoscopes for explosive atmospheres and dedicated shaft and coupling inspection systems. Recording, measurement and reporting functions let maintenance and quality teams document findings on site.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a videoscope and a borescope?

A borescope usually relays the image through a rigid or fibre-optic tube. A videoscope carries a digital camera at the tip, sends the image to a screen, usually has an articulating tip and records.

Where are industrial borescope cameras used?

In aircraft and gas turbines, engine interiors, pipes, heat exchangers, casting cavities and weld roots — anywhere corrosion, cracks, wear or foreign objects must be checked without direct access.

Are there videoscopes for explosive atmospheres?

Yes. ATEX-certified videoscopes are designed for safe visual inspection in explosive atmospheres such as refineries and petrochemical plants.
