Handheld XRF Analysers (PMI and Material Analysis)

Handheld XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysers measure the chemical composition of metal alloys in seconds, without damaging the part. They are used for positive material identification (PMI), incoming inspection, sorting mixed materials and scrap grading.

• PMI: verifying the right alloy in pipes, flanges, valves and welds
• Incoming inspection: checking supplied material against its certificate
