Even the best instrument pays off only with an operator who uses it correctly. NEXSEN runs hands-on operator training for the NDT equipment it supplies and services, on your own parts and procedures, at your site or ours.
Topics
- Ultrasonic testing: thickness gauges, flaw detectors, phased array (PAUT) and TOFD; setup with calibration blocks, recording and reporting
- Scanners: encoded scanning, corrosion mapping and weld inspection with manual and automated scanners
- Eddy current: eddy current and ECA instruments, probe selection, setup on reference standards, heat exchanger tube testing
- Magnetic particle: MPI benches, magnetising techniques, field indicators, UV-A checks and demagnetisation
- Visual inspection: remote visual inspection, measurement and recording with videoscopes and borescopes
- Online systems: operator use, daily verification and alarm handling on online UT and EC lines
- Other: portable hardness testing, XRF material analysis, laser shearography
Structure
- Theory: method basics, how the instrument works and its limits
- Practice: setup, calibration, measurement and inspection on your own parts
- Records and reports: data recording, software and report generation
- Daily care: probe, cable and accessory care; common mistakes
Participants receive a certificate of attendance. This training covers equipment use; it does not replace EN ISO 9712 personnel certification but helps prepare for it. For personnel qualification and procedure writing see our consulting service.
Service request: send the make, model and serial number of your equipment, the last calibration date and what you need through our contact form or to info@nexsen.com.tr, and we will come back with a schedule and a quotation.
