DeltaFlux DF SP 302 TAM Panels (Penetrant System Performance Panel)

DeltaFlux DF SP 302 TAM panels verify penetrant system performance at regular intervals. The hard-coated area carries five star cracks, each 76 µm deep; the number of stars visible shows the system’s indication capability. The grit-blasted (rough) area is used to assess washability and background. Panels come serial-numbered and certified with photo documentation.

Key features

• Two types: TAM 146040-1 polished (Ra 0.15 µm) and TAM 146040-2 full grit (Ra 0.7 µm)
• Grit-blasted area: aluminium oxide, 120 grit, 80 psi, Ra 1.5 µm
• Durable star cracks: very narrow, uniform crack widths and dimensionally accurate star diameters
• Easy cleaning: 60 seconds in an ultrasonic bath with acetone is enough
• Annual recalibration: every 12 months with photo documentation in the certificate

• Evaluation: Number of stars visible 5–10 minutes after developer
• Cleaning: Acetone, methylated spirits, petrol, tap water, ultrasonic cleaner; no heat above 40 °C
• Storage: In its box or in acetone / isopropyl alcohol
• Recalibration: Every 12 months
