Find it in 3 questions →Dantec FlawHunter is a handheld NDT inspection system that combines a high-resolution laser shearography sensor with an integrated vacuum (partial) excitation system in one ergonomic housing. On composite structures such as aircraft, helicopters, wind turbine blades and boats it shows disbonds, delaminations, crushed cores and impact damage within seconds, both in the field (in-service) and in post-production quality control.

What it does for your operation
- Less downtime: One shot, including placement, clamping and measurement, takes at most about 10 seconds; inspection rate is about 0.44 m² per minute. Aircraft and parts spend less time in maintenance.
- No set-up, one cable: Control electronics, vacuum pump and controller are built in. No external PC, pump or hoses; only a power connection is needed.
- Fast to adopt: A workflow-oriented display and left/right-hand buttons get operators productive quickly.
- Works on any surface: Usable on any material and surface where a stable vacuum can be generated inside the seal, including vertical and curved surfaces.
- Confident accept/reject decisions: 4+4 phase shifting and precise vacuum control give clear, low-noise phase maps, so fewer disputed results and re-inspections.
